About Us

The Hope Street Consort are a 6-part vocal ensemble based in Liverpool. Their name is inspired by the iconic street that connects the city’s two Cathedrals, where members of the consort perform as Choral Scholars and Lay Clerks.

Known for their flexibility in repertoire and clean sound, the consort has quickly gained recognition. Since their first concert in July 2024 they have had a busy couple of years, including an appearance at Prescot Festival 2025 (with a return appearance scheduled for June 2026), a concert under Luke Jerram’s Helios at Liverpool Cathedral, and many recitals and concerts across the North-West. The consort have also premiered three new commissions by local Liverpool composers during a flagship concert with Atticus Arts at the Shakespeare North Playhouse in June 2025.

The Hope Street Consort are available to sing for concerts, celebrations and other events; please use the ‘contact us’ section below to get in touch!
